Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 18

On Christmas morning when the boys opened these really cute Paw Patrol car toys I wondered how long it would take for him to take them for S&T. It definitely didn't take long..and now I wonder if and when he'll take the other 6 of them!

At least at this point he was happy. Ask me how happy I was when he was still awake and screaming over an hour later. Not sure what was up with him this night because he is almost never awake after he goes to bed at night.

Mommy’s Little Men – Week 3 – Jan 11 – 17

Oh dear, he's started to see his brother jump off the stairs to Jim and even though he won't actually jump yet he gets very excited at the thought of actually doing it. I know the day is coming very soon!

And of course James has no fear because he's been doing this for years by now!

2015 Mommy’s Little Men Photo Project

It was time for a BIG change, and I feel so much lighter now!

I love having long hair, but am far too busy/lazy to take the time to straighten it every day, so ended up doing the pony tail or messy bun every.single.day!!

I knew I wanted to cut it months ago, but then also wanted easy hair for Mexico so kept it long much longer than I had planned to. I strongly debated it back in September for our family photos but decided against it. Once Christmas was over I knew it was definitely time. I know the next few weeks will be interesting as I get used to actually doing my hair again, but I love having short hair....until I get tired of it and grow it out again. It's just kind of what I do!

THIS is why I fought so hard to buy this chair and a half. I love that it's big enough for one of us to snuggle up with our kidlets. This is my morning tea spot and almost every single day Jordie climbs up with me while I drink my tea and we Facetime with Nana....or rather he watches Paw Patrol or Bubble Guppies while I talk to Nana!

 

This was the scene when I came up from my office to head out to my meeting tonight. So much cuteness.

Happy Birthday to me!

Even though I had to work today I ended up having a good day! Jim got up with the boys so I could sleep in, then I went and got my new driver's license photo taken, got some of my favorite yummy breakfast burritos from McDonalds, a visit with my boys and then off to work where I was spoiled with lots of love, a nice sign and a yummy sprinkle donut :)

They asked me what I wanted and I said a sprinkle donut, I didn't think they were actually gonna sing to me though!
