Favorite Photo Friday - A little Busy Bee's preschool love story

This was such a cute moment from this week that I knew I had to share on here!

We were leaving Busy Bee's on Wednesday and a mom stopped me on the driveway to tell me that her son Paxton had woken up on Valentine's Day and insisted on making Kennedy a card and they'd been trying to give it to us since then but we just hadn't crossed paths yet at pick up or drop off.

The cutest thing to me was that KJ had missed the whole week before Valentine's because of a cold so the fact that he woke up that morning thinking of her when he hadn't seen her for more than a week was just too cute. The mom said that he talks about her all the time, and he is the only little boy that she ever mentions from there as well.

She was so excited to see that he had drawn the two of them and she's been very proud of the card ever since :)

Jordie's Preschool Photos 2018

In just less than a month this adorable little man is going to be finished with Busy Bee's and headed off to Kindergarten in September.

We are so lucky that the preschool photos are now taken by our favorite photographer, the amazingly talented Jenn Parkin!

Look at how adorable these turned out! I love the group ones where he was placed next to his best girl Maddie (I wonder if that was planned?!) :) His smile is awesome in those 2 photos!

Forever friends or forever love?

For the past 2 years these two little ones have been joined at the hip. They both love each other and irritate the piss out of each other. They take off to rooms and "play baby" together and rarely fight (as long as Jordie does as he's told). They sometimes play hard to get if one wants a kiss and the other doesn't want to (we never force it!) but usually always come around and leave any time together with at least a hug. They have both been known to start to cry just moments after being separated after a long day of preschool and daycare together. They regularly and spontaneously will tell each other that they love the other one and clearly are being shown at both homes how to express love to those closest to you. They have a true love and I hope that even if they end up as just friends forever that they always stand by each other, even through the awkward teen years. :)

PS: This is the first time I've taken these photos with just my phone and they look blurry to me. I usually always take my good camera but was rushing this morning and didn't! Oh well, they are cute pictures anyways!

Jordie's Preschool Photos

It's been way too long since I've done a blog post (I have been just a tad bit busy these days!) so I decided tonight to do a quick one with Jordie's preschool pictures from Busy Bee's. Our favorite photographer (and one of my besties...and the one that takes all of our photos) Jenn Parkin was hired to take the pictures this year and I got lucky because Jordie is so comfortable with her that he did fantastic and his photos are awesome!

Here they are...starting with my favorite one of course!
