Double J Photos – Week 46 – Nov 9 – 15

Starting off this week with Jordie Boy!

This is a face I get from him at least once or twice a day. Some days it's more!

And moving on to James now!

A very random sleep in Auntie Sheri's car

And a few cute together photos

James wants to know "Do you want to build a snowman?"

A totally awesome moment captured by Auntie Sheri and sent to me via text message. I listened to this on my lunch break and at least 3 more times in the 4 hours afterwards too. I just love it so much and love this kid too! Thanks Sheri!

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 10&11

There was no week 10 for show and tell because the Tuesday fell on Remembrance Day and there was of course no school!

For Week 11 James decided to take his new "indoor" hockey stick that his Daddy bought him and his brother from Dollarama. I go between loving that they can play hockey together in the house, but hating it at the same time. It's loud and often ends in tears and yelling about someone getting hit, or falling over, or just about any other little brother/big brother argument.

Anyways, he does love it so he took it and here are the pictures!

Mommy was off for 5 sunny days...so we got out and had some fun!

I couldn't have asked for a better 5 days off with my boys, both weather wise and just life wise too. We got out to the beach playground, took a walk to the school playground and of course rode bikes and played hockey at Nana and Papa's house. We also coloured pictures, played games, read books, did tons of laundry, vacuumed the floors and cleaned up the playroom. It was all around a wonderful few days off. Now onto 3 days of work, then 2 days of birthday parties, then 3 more days of work before Daddy comes home and we head to Mexico on family vacation!

Now onto the pictures and videos of my handsome boys loving being outdoors enjoying the sunshine at Willingdon Beach playground.

Almost all of the photos of James these days are blurry because he just never stops moving! This is him flying like a bird!

Off the swings and onto the grass to throw the ball and chase each other.

LOVE this new photo of him!

I get this face a lot in the day...I'm dying to know what he's thinking these days!

We seriously live in the most beautiful place in the world.

Venturing onto the playground now

Adorable as always...I think I may have a photo of James like this too!

See what I mean? Always moving...hard to capture a good photo!

hehehehehe

He is such a good big brother!

Now onto another beautiful sunny afternoon. This day we walked up to my office at VIU to say hello, then went to the playground at Westview Elementary School.

Jordie was not happy about not being able to climb up there with his brother

Another new favorite photo of my big guy!

Some cute videos taken too!

Yesterday we went to N&P's house and broke out the bikes...and matching Blue Jays hats that up to this point Jordie refused to wear!

Normally he would be wearing a helmet but it's too small now (and so is the bike) but I really wanted him to try it out to see if he would like it enough to get him a new bike in the spring. I would say the answer to that is yes and at that point he will definitely have to wear a helmet!

And I'll admit that this one should have been wearing the helmet, but I just didn't have the heart this time to discourage him from trying out the bike. Next time though the mean Mommy will come back out again!

And seriously this picture would not have been nearly as cute with a helmet on as it is with that oversized Blue Jays hat!

He spotted one of the many planes that fly overhead at N&P's house. He loves it there when he sees one fly over.

hehehehehehehehehehe

Enough bikes....it's time for some HOCKEY!

A random kiss for Mommy!

He so badly wanted to ride on his brother's bike!

Papa came home and he went running for him!

Nana decided to really tire them out by taking them for a walk up to the stop sign at the top of the street.

And some cute moments captured on video too
