Barrows Family Photos 2020

I'm starting off this post with my favorite photo of all of 2020! As soon as I opened the gallery from Jenn and saw this photo I knew I was more than happy, even if all we had gotten was this one.

They seriously all look so cute and natural.

I also love this one too...and no we did not tell Jordie to hold her hand, he just did it all on his own.

We had a similar photo to this when she was a baby.

This was a cute family one

Another of my favorites of the 3 of them!

A couple more fave family ones!

These candid ones turned out way better than I anticipated!

My favorite of this set! Will definitely be going on the wall :)

Now for individuals of the kids!

Love the missing front tooth Jordie smile

Seriously this kid is looking so grown up these days!

When Jenn asked the kids to jump I was sure I wouldn't like the photos, but in the end I LOVE them!

Here's the individuals of them!

A few of just me and Jimmy!

We were losing light fast so didn't get one of me and the boys or of Jim and Kennedy so for this year it was just girls only and boys only, which all turned out great! :)

A few more family ones before the sunset. This was such a beautiful spot and we got the nicest day in weeks for these photos!

Jenn once again knocked it out of the park with all of these photos. I feel so very fortunate to have her as a friend first and a wonderful photographer second. I am very hopeful once the world returns to normal a bit that I will get to spend more time with her again!

Life with a cheeky 10 year old

I just wanted ONE photo of our family in our ugly Christmas sweaters! It wasn't until after the photos were taken (by Nana and Papa) and the littles were in PJ's that we realized that the big butthead had been fingering the camera. Cheeky little buggar!

The positive part of this is that it then forced the kids into taking some cute family photos in their jammies instead! And he was smart enough this time to not attempt the middle finger!

He's lucky he's so darn cute!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

I had high hopes to do Christmas cards this year...but just like most everything else in 2020, it didn't quite go as planned. So for now, I'll just share this awesome family photo from our fall shoot with Jenn Parkin Photography. Once again, she knocked it out of the park completely with what I had hoped for these photos!

Merry Christmas to all of our friends and family, near and far! We love you all so much and wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2021.
Love Jim, Kim, James, Jordan and Kennedy Barrows

Photo Friday - shots from a sick day at the beach

A few weeks back the kids and I were all home sick for the week with a cold. By Thursday the kids were largely feeling better and I was just getting it and feeling pretty awful but we all needed to get out for some fresh air so we went down the hill to one of our favorite beaches. It was a gorgeous afternoon!

I always take so many great photos that I never end of sharing and always regret not taking the 5 minutes to create a post, so today I'm going to.

Does every little girl bring 4 dollies to the beach to play with? She had so much fun with these toys and loved pushing them on the swing.

Yes...he is Jim's kid...shorts on a cold October day.

I love it when they can all play nicely together! It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it's glorious.

Feeling so crappy but laying on a rock in the sun was nice.

Beautiful view!
