How she did it I have no idea!

Sheri captured this awesome photo of J&K yesterday and as soon as I saw it my first question to her was "how did you get a photo like that with his arms around her without her screeching face?"

Kennedy loves Jordie that is for sure but usually whenever he gets too close to her or tries to grab her to hug her (especially from behind) she freaks out and starts screeching immediately. Actually screeching is her new go to move pretty much whenever she doesn't like anything. If they take something she is playing with, or they have something she wants, or she doesn't want any more food at her high chair...the list goes on. I will admit the screeching is a new thing in our house, I don't remember either of my boys doing it. James didn't have any competition for toys or anything, and Jordie didn't because he barely made any sounds as a baby and really didn't care what James did to him! But this lady is a whole new breed of the two boys mixed together. She is definitely a little fire cracker that is not about to be pushed around by those big brothers of hers. I see her standing up for herself and throwing many punches in the days and years to come! :)

Whether this was just a fluke or not I don't care at all...I LOVE this picture of both of them. She looks like a little porcelain doll with her sparkling blue eyes and he has a real genuine smile which can be rare with him these days :)

A totally awesome moment captured by Auntie Sheri and sent to me via text message. I listened to this on my lunch break and at least 3 more times in the 4 hours afterwards too. I just love it so much and love this kid too! Thanks Sheri!

Preschool Art - Year 2 - September

I was excited to get this project again this year and am happy to be able to see how much James has changed in the last 12 months. I can't believe he's gained 4.5 pounds and grown 4 inches! I think it's funny to see his favorite activity from last year too because the kid has never even been on a horse!

I love Sheri so much! I picked the boys up from there one day and out they came carrying these next two pictures. I love that Jordie is showing an interest in coloring already, it's not something James ever cared about until about the last 6 months or so.

Monday cuteness at Auntie Sheri's house

James asked Sheri if he could rock his little brother in the chair. She said yes and then snapped this random adorable photo of my two little loves. Love them and love her for being thoughtful and sending it to me. I love being in the loop of what's going on during the day and I will often get videos and photos sent to me throughout the day and if they are being terrible she's kind enough to NOT let me know that until I get there to pick them up! :)

I miss this little guy now that I'm working...but I also find I'm enjoying him more too!
