Preschool Show & Tell - November & December

This has become one of his favorite toys to play with ever since he started watching Blaze and the Monster Machines....even though it isn't actually Blaze he still loves it!

This was a bit of a random choice because he hasn't been watching much Paw Patrol lately, but nonetheless this was his choice and I try hard not to persuade him about what to take...unless he's already taken the item before that is!

If the last one was a bit of a random choice...this one was totally random to me! We haven't read this book in probably a year and when he grabbed it from his bookshelf and brought it out to me I was completely shocked, but again, just let him take it anyways! I love looking back through these posts to see what things my boys are interested in showing to their friends and teachers at school.

This week Jordie chose a book called "I Want My Hat Back" which is kind of a strange but funny little book that he got from my aunt and uncle. It was a random choice because it was on a bookshelf that we don't read books from all the time so I was surprised when he grabbed it!

This week Jordie took his new favorite thing...his Minions puzzle that his Daddy got him a few days before. In the past week this kid has fallen in love with puzzles and I can't wait until he sees one of his presents under the tree. :)

The last item Jordie chose for S&T before the Christmas break was the red motorcycle that goes with a Ninja Turtle toy that James got a few years ago. I have no idea which turtle it comes with or where it actually is...but he doesn't care, he loves this little toy!

Preschool show & tell - September and October

I haven't been nearly as good at keeping track of photographing Jordie's show and tell items like I did with James but I did not too bad for September and October!

Here's his first item! A favorite Mater truck that we've had for years now!

Then he wanted to take his Spiderman hat

Next up was his favorite stuffy "My Dog Spot"

The following Monday he had just found out he was going to be a big brother so he took his sign to show Janet and Laura and his classmates

He's a huge fan of Blaze and the Monster Machines and he found this book we bought James last year not even knowing who the book was about. He loves this book!

The last week in October saw him taking the little Mexican monkey that his brother got him from the resort we went to two years ago.

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 34

This was the last week of Show & Tell and I tried to get him to take something fun and exciting, but nope, he wanted to take another random car from the collection. And this week I didn't even get a picture of him with it and now do you think I can find this particular car in the bunch? Oh well, another year of S&T posts are done and I hear that 

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 33

And this week he took the last of the 4 Ninja Turtles! This one is Leonardo and yes I had to ask James on this one too! I'm a terrible child of the 80's for not knowing these guys names!

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 32

We're up to Ninja Turtle car #3 of the 4 that the boys got for Easter! This guy's name is Raphael...although I will admit I had to ask Jim while I was writing this post. 

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 31

Oh the cow bell, how I loathe this thing. It is usually hidden away on the top of the coat rack in the front hall, but yesterday just as James was headed out to school Jim suggested he take this for S&T. I'm sure Janet and Laura were super impressed by it :)

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 30

This was from 2 weeks ago but just got around to taking the pictures last night when I took this week's picture. I can't believe that it's just a few more weeks until we are done with Show & Tell until next year. Does anyone know how often they bring Show & Tell in Kindergarten (if they even do it then?)

Another week, another random car from the massive collection we have of them! 

Sometimes trying to get him to smile is quite the feat!

 

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 29

Another Easter bunny toy that the boys have loved. This set came with two paddles, a ball and a birdie.  All Jordie wants to do is put the birdie in his mouth and spit it out but James loves to hit the ball around all the time. 

I really like this new picture of James.

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 28

This was the TMNT paddle ball that the Easter bunny brought for the boys. The first one broke within a week of Easter but this one is actually still hanging on and is played with every single day!

The kid just did not want to sit still for a picture tonight! 

Preschool Show & Tell – Year 2 – Week 27

The Easter bunny brought some new Ninja Turtle toy cars and of course James took one for Show & Tell this week.
