Halloween 2014 Memories

For the first time ever Mommy and Daddy decided to dress alike and get in on the fun of the day. James was the cutest little Whyatt from Super Why and Jordan was Batman or Batbaby as we called him. Now onto the very photo-heavy blog post!

Trying on costumes a few nights before the big day!

Hehehehehe....this kid looks hilarious, yet this is his real true smile too which makes it an adorable photo.

Halloween day pumpkin carving with Daddy. James of course didn't want to actually touch the pumpkin at all.

A new favorite photo of James

And then of course there's Jordie who just wanted to eat the gunk and seeds!

Daddy dressed them in matching outfits for the day...

...and bought them new indoor hockey sticks (yay for me....said sarcastically of course!)

And of course he ended up doing all of the carving by himself!

This was our miserable little Jordie after his nap and before we left for the night. I didn't have high hopes for the night that's for sure.

Especially when THIS was the face I got again, as soon as we got out the door

Pretty proud of his little baby pumpkin from the farm

This is my favorite one from before we got started!

Pretty standard Jordie frown happening...like I said I didn't have high hopes for the night!

Stopped at Nana's to get some photos taken of all of us.
Here are the boys with Alex Devlin the little Ewok

His night greatly improved as soon as Daddy broke out the chocolate and it started to clue in to him what he was in for.

Daddy was his favorite guy that's for sure!

hahahahaha....priceless photo right here!

We put the bucket up high and the grumpy Jordie came back right away. Here he is whining because he can't reach the chocolate!

Yup, I finally agreed to a joint costume idea.
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Awesome Halloween family photo!

My big guy Whyatt from Super Why!

Our first stop was Auntie Sheri and Uncle Keith's house

Showing Auntie his treats

Love these next two photos of the boys with Auntie Michele

Attempting some cute together shots

Next stop was Auntie Michele's house where Jordie was pumped to be able to pick him own chocolates. The kid would have cleaned her out if Daddy had let him!

High fives for Auntie Michele!

Trying to climb into the plastic pumpkin

Another favorite Batbaby photo

Now on to Dot's house for our yearly visit. This is always a favorite house for us.

He was fascinated by the plastic pumpkins everywhere we saw them!

Finally a cute photo of them together.

Showing me his super jumps off the little concrete wall

Cheeky little guy was just happy to have some space to run around

Next up was the Slacks for a quick visit. Here is Jordie sharing his treats with his buddy Kaleb.

Dane the Ninja turtle

Now back to Nana and Papa's street for a few houses of trick or treating.

Big kisses for his Papa before supper at N&P's

James was very excited to help Nana hand out the candy...and this time he knew the kids too, it was Zev and Nyah from next door!

Overall we had a wonderful Halloween and I am finally coming around a little bit to the "holiday" but I don't think I will ever be a huge fan of it like Jim is!

Now to find family matching costumes for next year    :)
