During our trip this past weekend we had planned to do some shopping and I had promised James a new toy or trinket that he could take to S&T on Tuesday. Well because of different factors including just laziness, we didn't really do anything except hang out with the kids and visit with family which was actually really nice, but it also means that on our way home James had no new toy or trinket to take to preschool! Soooo....the BC Ferry gift shop it was! I was not surprised in the least at James's choice either of toy either! It moves when pulled back, and has lights and sounds too which makes it super annoying so in his world, it's perfect :o)

43/52 - A Portrait a Week
Love this photo of my dark eye-browed baby!
My serious looking James.
Some cute together photos. A friend mentioned on FB that this picture looks like Jordy is telling James to stop talking. I don't think it will be long before that is exactly what is happening!!

Preschool Show & Tell - Week 7
As I said a few days ago when I posted this Robert Munsch book so Daddy could read it to James, Just One Goal is a new favorite for sure. He insisted on taking it to Show & Tell and apparently told the class that I read it to him when he wakes up at night?!?! Uuummmm hell no, I give him a drink of water and a little hug and send him on his way back to bed, but I love that he told them that I do, even if I don't :o)
Oh my god, his cheese face is unreal these days and getting worse! :o)

Preschool Show & Tell - Week 6
There's a cute story about this week's show and tell item. We were hanging out at Nana and Papa's house on Sunday talking about the coming week and we got on the topic of what James might take to preschool for show and tell. He was as always kinda running around not really answering us but just jabbering away and in his flurry of movement just about knocked this picture off the side table (PS. same side table he did a header into 2 months ago!)
I told him he had to be careful because Papa loves that picture of Diesel and he wouldn't want to break the picture frame. The next thing Papa said was "Alfie, do you want to take that picture of Diesel to school for show & tell?" Of course James was excited and said "oh yes, Papa I do, that's a great idea".
James and Diesel have a very special bond and he loves that dog more than any other animal I've ever seen him interact with. He truly is a very special pet and one that is bonded to everyone in our family. I love him like he's my own dog, but thankful that I don't have to clean up after him, except when we stay there (sidenote: he seems to always barf somewhere at sometime while we are there!)
Anyways, here is James with the an adorable photo that I took of Diesel quite some time ago. I wish we could take Diesel himself to show and tell but I'm not so sure what Laura and Janet would think about that...or any little kids that are terrified of big dogs!
I'm a week behind on this blog post as last week was definitely hectic and actually pretty terrible so not much blogging was happening! Will post this weeks S&T item tomorrow.
42/53 - A Portrait a Week
Starting the week off with my big guy and his dirty breakfast face, remnants of his black eye and his best buddy Coal.
Jordan's newest favorite thing to do!
Adorable big/little brother moment. James loves to push and "help" his brother in the Jolly Jumper!
