Alysha and I met in prenatal classes and started hanging out when our oldest ones were just babies. We spent at least 3-4 days together during that maternity leave and then life happened and we both went back to work and didn't see each other nearly enough but always kept in touch and managed to get together when we could. She is a dear friend and we always have something to talk about and never run out of things to say. She knows I always have her back and I know she always has mine too and it's so nice to have some good girlfriends that you can share your mommy adventures with!
Fast forward 3 years later and we again have babies together, but her second was born back in November whereas mine didn't come until May. Now that she is close to returning to work we are regretting not spending as much time together as we should have but will do what we can over the next few months while we can.
James and Katelyn are in the same class at preschool so today at pick up I just had to take a picture of them together in front of the sign. I'm sure this won't be the last one I'll take either!
