A few weeks ago Wayne and Grace came over to have dinner with me and boys and we had a great visit with them. The weekend before this they had been scheduled to come up for a visit but Jordan ended up getting sick and we just so badly needed a quiet weekend that I sent them a late night message asking them if they could postpone their trip by a few weeks.
A few days later my dad phoned to ask if they could come over on the ferry from the Peninsula to see us, even if just for a few hours for a quick dinner. Jim had ball but I said that the boys and I would come out and pick them up. It ended up being a crazy long day for me with working 10-6 and then driving right out to Saltery Bay to pick them up for a campfire dinner at the campsite, but it was worth it to see them even if it was just for 2 hours. We dropped them off at 8:40 and made our way home and thankfully the next day the boys weren't too miserable from another late night so it actually started the weekend off on a great note for us! Looking forward to when they are able to come up later in the summer and stay for a little while!
Not a lot of pictures of the kids...they were either eating or exploring the woods near the site we set up in. A great evening for two happy little boys!
