January 2016 Monthly Memories

Rather than weekly posts that just seemed to overwhelm me last year I've decided to do one monthly memory post instead. It will probably be a big post with lots of photos, but that's okay, probably easier than attempting to do a weekly one!

Starting off with my favorite event of the month...my girls weekend to the Kingfisher. Here's the blog post about that trip where I shared more pictures.

New years day walk along the beach trail with the Slacks and Tassells. More photos from New Years Day can be found HERE.

James started a new sport in January too! Videos can be found in this post

Now moving onto a very rare snow evening (I say that because the snow was long gone by the next afternoon so we couldn't even say we had a full snow day here). More Snow Night photos can be found HERE!

Now a couple pictures from my birthday on the 20th. And the blog post about that crappy day too!

James was honored as a reading hero at the school and was called up at the Literacy Day assembly. I was really happy that I was able to be there for the assembly that day and got to see him go up in front of his whole class. And yes the kindies were having a PJ day...I don't normally send him in his PJ's to school!

Friday night family fun at Subway for supper and then to the Kings game

Yummy Sunday morning waffle breakfast made by Daddy

James and Katelyn's beautiful sunny afternoon playdate at Willingdon

Jordie boy's owie from when he fell head first onto the floor at the mall

Westview school crafts from James's class

James's swimming class

Quiet coloring and sticker fun for the boys

Friday morning fun at Westview for Jordie

Jordie and Blake at Strong Start

Jordie was so proud of those onesie pajamas

And lastly...my favorite iPhone photos of the month!

Helping Nana refill the k-cup carousel...this is his job now!

Poutine is a new favorite around here

This is how Jordie rolls when he wants to do his puzzles

Delivering a bouquet of flowers to Nana for all of her help

A little Saturday morning visit at the Parkin's house

Nana to the rescue! Her and Mary Lynne were out for their walk and walked over and got James so a sick Mommy and Jordie wouldn't have to leave the house to take James to school

Gotta teach them young how to fend for themselves, in our house that means learning how to make Kraft Dinner.

Beautiful sunset at N&P's house

James came by my office after school and told Margo he was "as good as gold today" so she took him to the vending machine and bought him a chocolate bar!

Lucky guy got to try out Erin's stand up bass.
