Just another heart melting moment in our world!

Can you guess who made this for his little sister's door? 😃

He's obsessed with drawing pictures and taping them up everywhere! This was so cute when he wanted to put it up I said he could on the back of the door but I went upstairs and there it was proudly hanging on the front of it instead. So of course there it will stay. He loves walking out of his room and seeing it! 

He would sneak in every night if he could

This kid is a big snuggler and loves to sneak into my bed whenever he can. He used to come downstairs to ask me if he could sleep with me but has finally caught on that I'm much more likely to let him stay if this is how I find him when I come up to bed. 

Now this little lady in blue has also taken to waking up at night crying. So tonight I'm bringing her to bed with me too. We'll see how long this lasts until I kick them both out. Her for moving around too much and him for his awful teeth grinding he does!! 

She was very curious about why he was in here too!

At least she laid quietly while I finished the last ten minutes of the show I had started! She just kept looking up at me and smiling. 

I'm taking the extra snuggles because I know just how fast time flies!

Husband and wife weekly crib tournament of 2018

Jim and I love playing crib together, but life gets in the way of that sometimes and we end up going weeks or months without playing any games. So tonight on our way home from the city we decided to start a weekly tournament and at the end of the year we’ll see who has won the most amount of games and by how much. Before we got married we used to play all the time and kept track of our scores in a book and even played for money (that never changed hands of course....was more for bragging rights than anything else.)

Tonight I won the first game but then we ran out of time to finish the second one, so I took this picture so we know where we can start again tomorrow for our game 2. Our goal is to play a best of 3 series each week so after the year we should have somewhere between 100-150 games! Maybe in 6 months I’ll do an update to show our YTD totals. ☺️

Best Christmas Present Ever!

Kennedy got the boys tickets to see the Vancouver Canucks play against the Anaheim Ducks for Christmas. I was more excited to give the boys this gift than any other under the tree. We got these tickets months ago now and planned this trip way back in late summer. I can't believe it's finally here!! 

James randomly mentioned to me a few weeks ago that when he went to his next Canucks game (whenever that was gonna be, he said) he wanted to make sure he got on the jumbotron at the game and Sportnet Central. I asked what he would do and he said make some signs...so that's what I did last night!

Here we go...our whole year of daily photos in one very long post. I love being able to look back through this post and literally see our children grow up in front of my eyes! There are so many wonderful memories I've captured over the past 365 days with all of our amazing friends and family. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I do!

There it is...every single day of 2017...memories captured with my iPhone and forever memorialized here on this blog. I have thousands more photos I wish I had shared on here and on FB and IG, but I'm happy with those that I did share. Hopefully next year I'll get around to more blogging than I did this year! This was my quietest blog year since I started the  blog in 2012 and I've missed it so much. My goal for 2018 is at least 100 posts :)
