My favorite sunset picture taken was actually this one taken by Darian on his iPod! The rest are all taken on either my regular camera or my iPhone.
Now a bunch of photos of scenery just outside of and throughout the Royal Decameron Resort
The beachfront rooms in Building #1
One of the many weddings that went on during the week we were there
Ben on the balcony of his room in Building #6
The view looking out of the lobby of our building (#4)
Building #4's pool where we only swam the first day we were there
Our room is right in the center of the picture, with the red balcony, top floor. We loved our room. It was right at the very top of the stairs so easy to get up and down with the kids, and the lobby of Building #4 became our gathering and meeting spot
(it also is one of the only spots in the resort with WiFi)
View towards Pool #4
View from our room
Teresa standing on the walkway in front of Building #1
Some beach shots
Building #2 Pool
More beach
View from our room
Chris & Teresa's balcony right beside ours
The view from the outside of lobby of Building #4 looking across the street towards Building's 4 & 5
I spent many hours here on two separate mornings making reservations for dinner. This is the only negative thing I found about the resort...the reservations for the a la carte restaurants!
Walking towards the pool at #4
Near the bar at Building #1
We liked to eat at this buffet at Building #1 because the view was the best
I'm sad that this building appears to be being painted more neutral colors rather than the brighter colors of the other parts of the resort. We heard rumors that this is the way the whole resort will look in the years to come.
Looking towards the Rodizio Grill which is snack bar for lunch and afternoon and then the Brazillion restaurant at dinner time
The bar across from the main lobby
The main lobby
This is the view from the road looking towards the back of our building. The top balcony there was right outside of our room.
The archway heading to Building 5 & 6 area
The buffet at Building #5...we ate here once for breakfast and the adults ate a yummy Thai dinner there one night too.
Heading down our favorite walkway to our favorite place in the whole resort...the pool at
Building #6. It had it's own bar, towel service, snack bar and the best pool by far!
Piccollo's Italian restaurant where Teresa and I took the kids one night, and then Jim and I took them all another night. It had the most normal food and was the only
a la carte restaurant that the kids ate at.
The snack bar where we ate lunch almost every day
The sign I knew we had to get our photos taken in front of before we left
(those photos in my last post that is still coming)
The view from the top of our stairs looking out towards the road
The awesome little spa that we went to for the fish spa treatments, massages,
manicures and pedicures
Ben and the boys and I walked into Bucerias and these were a few of the pictures that I took
Now on to the various geckos that we saw at the Decameron when we were there
If I was sitting at that table and that thing crawled up near me I would have freaked out!
James loved the geckos so much and when they were with the kids club they apparently
got to help feed them!
