There's a cute story about this week's show and tell item. We were hanging out at Nana and Papa's house on Sunday talking about the coming week and we got on the topic of what James might take to preschool for show and tell. He was as always kinda running around not really answering us but just jabbering away and in his flurry of movement just about knocked this picture off the side table (PS. same side table he did a header into 2 months ago!)
I told him he had to be careful because Papa loves that picture of Diesel and he wouldn't want to break the picture frame. The next thing Papa said was "Alfie, do you want to take that picture of Diesel to school for show & tell?" Of course James was excited and said "oh yes, Papa I do, that's a great idea".
James and Diesel have a very special bond and he loves that dog more than any other animal I've ever seen him interact with. He truly is a very special pet and one that is bonded to everyone in our family. I love him like he's my own dog, but thankful that I don't have to clean up after him, except when we stay there (sidenote: he seems to always barf somewhere at sometime while we are there!)
Anyways, here is James with the an adorable photo that I took of Diesel quite some time ago. I wish we could take Diesel himself to show and tell but I'm not so sure what Laura and Janet would think about that...or any little kids that are terrified of big dogs!
I'm a week behind on this blog post as last week was definitely hectic and actually pretty terrible so not much blogging was happening! Will post this weeks S&T item tomorrow.
